Since the early days, World Expeditions has forged strong partnerships with charities across the globe. Operating in developing countries over four decades has exposed us to the challenges faced by different nations and through our charity associations, we’ve been able to work alongside their existing projects and fundraising initiatives to help alleviate some of those struggles. We’ve seen the difficulties faced by Himalayan people suffering from cataract blindness in remote mountain environments, the crippling effects of natural disasters such as tsunami’s, earthquakes, floods and fires, vulnerable children who are victims of orphanage scams as well as the exploitation of animals and the degradation of the natural environment. These, and a swathe of others, are critically important issues that our charities are working toward in their respective sectors to find real solutions for.
